In anguish, Violet proceeds to destroy the puppy plushie and choke herself, but ends up on the floor facing the puppy as she continues to think of Gilbert. Ultimately, from seeing the impact and importance of her work (as the scene shows the people who she has written for in the past) and how she has changed the life of those she has helped
Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece, but if you only like shonen you probably won’t like it. It’s deeply moving and the movies are a must watch also. 10/10 would be a plausible rating for it. I think you'd find it boring if you compare it with MHA. Qualitywise, I think Violet is far better, but its a drama.
parents need to watch this first. The "romance" in this movie is between a teenage girl (IMO drawn as a preteen in some flashback sequences) and an adult man. Parents need to watch this ahead of time and be prepared to discuss grooming, trafficking, and age appropriate relationships with their children. Show more.

Alright, Violet! Mess me up real bad! The second half of Violet Evergarden is self-inflicted pain, and we love it. Which could be considered weird, people don't usually like being sad, or in emotional pain, but most people seem to intuitively understand and even crave for it. But real life is a sad place.

The movie really did a fantastic job at calling back at the anime and visiting some of the characters we had previously met, past and future. Light Novel Volume 4 ''Violet Evergarden Ever After'' This whole new volume has not been adapted because it’s an after story to be upcoming movie, we do know some things that will happen. We will see the relationship between Violet and Gilbert nurturing after they reunite in volume 2 and after the events of volume 3
Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece. Just finished it, and I believe it is not a stretch to say this. Though I have only watched the anime ( I am just now aware that it is a light novel. Amazing.), I can and will say this much. The artwork is great; if not outstanding; and the soundtracks fall nothing short from it especially the ending theme song.
